We love weekend breaks at GW.  Trouble is, they don't last very long.  That's why we think every minute should be spent having fun, not wasted on working out where to eat, what to do or what to see.  Having spent many a Sunday afternoon frantically searching down country lanes for the perfect gastro pub, we always thought there should be a better way!

And so the idea for Gorgeous Weekend was born...

Gorgeous Weekend isn't just a collection of the best luxury Yorkshire hotels and self-catering accommodation, it's the whole package.  We're not content with simply providing an accommodation booking service, we want you to have all the information you need to have the perfect weekend break.  Our exclusive location mini-guides and concierge service are an important aspect of who we are and what makes us different.  We think being in the know before you even arrive changes a good weekend into a Gorgeous one.  And if you want to stay a little longer that's fine - everything we do at GW works for mid-week or week long breaks too.  We pride ourselves on giving you world class service right from the first enquiry.  Click here to take a look at some of the comments we've had back from our recent Gorgeous guests...

Why North Yorkshire?  There are lots of reasons why we choose North Yorkshire to be the first of our UK locations.  The variety of location is enormous - from the drama of the Moors and the Dales to two of the best urban locations in the country in York and Harrogate.  It's also served by two stops on the East Coast mainline (under 2 hours direct from London) and by several local airports (Leeds Bradford, Newcastle) making it incredibly easy to get here.  Admittedly there is some personal bias too - having lived and worked in North Yorkshire for over a decade our Managing Director is incredibly passionate about how unique this county is, and how many fabulous places there are for an indulgent weekend break.
